We get a lot of repeat customers here at our Smoky Mountain zipline attraction. Once people experience the exhilaration of speeding along a suspended zipline at speeds of up to 40 miles per hour, they seem to get an itch to come back and do it all again.
But we also realize that many of our visitors are new to us, or it may even be their very first time on a zipline of any kind. If that's true of you, and you've been thinking about giving us a try, here's a quick overview of what to expect on your visit.
We're located less than two miles off the Parkway in Pigeon Forge, but our setting is still all natural, with beautiful Smoky Mountain-area scenery abounding. You'll find plenty of parking on site, and once we get you signed up and ready to go, you're off to the equipment room, where one of our knowledgeable staff will outfit you with safety equipment such as a harness, helmet and gloves.
We transport you by truck up the mountain to the start of our canopy course, which can include as many as 24 different ziplines (depending on your tour package). From there, one of our guides will give you all the instructions you'll need to zipline safely, from proper launch and landing techniques to how to steer and brake yourself on the ziplines. You'll even get to try out a dry run on one of our short lines.
Then you're off on your tour. Two guides will accompany you the whole time, one of whom will make sure you safely get onto each platform and launch yourself properly. At the opposite end, the other guide will be there to receive you on the landing platform.
The rest is up to you! There's plenty to see, plenty to experience and lots of great memories to be created. Your tour can last several hours, depending on the size of your group, so it's a great way to spend a morning or afternoon with friends or family on a Smoky Mountain adventure.
