Don't Forget to Look Around!

There's a right way and a wrong way to do everything, and that philosophy applies to our Pigeon Forge zip line adventure too. When you get started, your guides will equip you with all the necessary gear, including a helmet, body harness and leather gloves. And once you're out on the course, you'll also be given a set of instructions that will help you get the most out of each line. For example, you'll learn just a few hand signals that tell you when to slow down and when not to put on the brakes, for example. There are also guidelines for stepping off the launch platform, where to place your hands during each ride and even how to position your legs and feet. And during each zipline run, you'll need to make sure you watch the guide at the landing platform for any necessary hand signals. And while being mindful of the rules and guidelines is certainly a good thing, it's also easy to be so focused and preoccupied on them that you forget to look around and enjoy the view from up in the air. Be sure you take a few moments on each run to take in the scenery, from the treetops above you to the rolling hills below your feet. It's a unique perspective for sure, so don't miss out!
