7 Things You Might Not Know About Smoky Mountain Ziplines

his is a great time of year to do some ziplining, especially if you're enjoying a weekend or a full vacation in the Great Smoky Mountains. But even if you're sold on the idea of ziplining, you may be trying to decide which attraction in our area will offer you the best overall experience.

Read on, and we'll share with you several reasons why you should choose our Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg canopy tours over the other vendors. We're focusing on aspects of our zipline operation that you may not have been aware of – things we feel give us a distinct advantage.

1. You'll have it made in the shade.

Show up on a sunny day, and you'll experience some beautiful Smoky Mountain ambiance. We have awesome views of the mountains, but our canopy tour winds its way through hilly wooded acreage that offers a lot of shade for our guests, especially when you're waiting on one of our launch or landing platforms. And when you're actually flying through the air on one of our ziplines, you'll feel a nice breeze to help you cool off on a summer morning or afternoon.

2. We just unveiled a new course.

If you've never ziplined with us in the past, you may not know that we recently debuted a new zipline course that's very different from the ones we've run in the past. Our customers are telling us they like it a lot, and the course even offers a repelling component that adds another dimension of fun to your outdoor adventure. And even if you have ziplined with us before, be sure to come back this summer and try our new course on for size.

3. We're the best zipline value in town.

Because we offer the largest course in Pigeon Forge and because our canopy tours allow you to ride longer for less money than other zipline attractions, we consider ourselves to be the best zipline value in town. In a time when the dollar seems to buy less and less, you can know that you're getting the maximum zipline impact for what you spend.

4. We're easy to get to.

With a lot of zipline attractions, you have to drive to remote locations to get in on the fun. Not with Smoky Mountain Ziplines. Yes, we're outside the city, but our outpost is only two miles from the Parkway in Pigeon Forge, on the south end of town. That makes us convenient not only to Pigeon Forge visitors but also to those staying in Gatlinburg and Sevierville.

5. We host events.

That's right; in addition to our zipline tours and repelling activity, Smoky Mountain Ziplines has a base camp large enough to accommodate your group function, whether it's a birthday party or a corporate outing.

6. You can book a tour with us online.

On our website home page, you'll find a link to the Zerve website, where you can book a tour with us for maximum convenience. You'll see a list of the dates on which tours have not sold out, so all you have to do is click your preferred and available date and time and then pay for your tickets online.

7. We're the highest-rated outdoor activity in Pigeon Forge.

TripAdvisor has given us a five-star rating based on more than 1,000 reviews, making us the highest-ranked outdoor activity in town. That's helped earn us TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence, awarded to attractions that consistently earn great reviews from travelers.
