7 Great Reasons to Try Smoky Mountain Ziplines

For many, simply the idea of sailing high through the air over a scenic mountain valley is reason enough to give ziplining a try. But just in case you're one of those people who might need a little more persuasion, here are seven reasons to not only try ziplining in general but to come see us at Smoky Mountain Ziplines in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

1. Ziplining Is Fun

There's no two ways about it; ziplining is one of the most fun things you can do in the Great Smoky Mountains, period. Like we said above, the prospect of clipping your harness onto a zipline trolley, stepping out on a leap of faith and flying through the air at high speed with the wind in your face – that alone is reason enough to draw a lot of people to our outpost.

2. It's Extremely Accessible

Ziplining is one of the few extreme outdoor activities that most novices can start doing immediately. Unlike skydiving or hang gliding, which require more expertise and training, ziplining only requires a few minutes of instruction before you get to try it out for yourself.

3. You'll Enjoy the Outdoors

Shops, theaters and restaurants are great places to go on vacation, but if you decide to visit the Smoky Mountains, shouldn't you do something that actually gets you into the mountains? Our course in the foothills has beautifully scenic terrain and fantastic views of the Smokies. And you can spend multiple hours on your tour, giving you plenty of time to take in the sights and enjoy that fresh mountain air.

4. Family Bonding Time

When you're spending hours together as a family on a vacation outing, you're bound to bond. Whether it's laughing at mom as she screams her way across the zipline or giving dad a hard time when he comes up short of the landing platform, a day on the zipline course naturally leads to the creation of enduring memories.

5. Our New Zipline Course!

At Smoky Mountain Ziplines, we just majorly revamped our course, now giving our previous customers a different experience from the ones we've offered before, including a rappelling feature.

6. Lots of Bang for the Buck

When you consider all the fun you can have, all the great scenery we have to offer and the fact that you and your family can do something together for multiple hours, ziplining with us really is a great value. And once you factor in our new, larger course, you can see why our Pigeon Forge zip line prices stack up to those of any other zipline attraction in town.

7. Almost Anyone Can Participate

Our only age requirement is that kids have to be at least 5 years old and weigh at least 50 pounds to ride on their own. The maximum weight limit is 275 pounds.
